Students timetables for both GCSE & AS/A2 exams will be posted home during the Easter holidays.  The timetables will include date of exams, subject, length of exam, seat number and venue. The Exam venue will be open each day at 9.30am unless otherwise stated. 

AS/A2 & GCSE Exams – Summer 2007
First summer exam is on 14 May 2007, the last exam is on 29 June 2007.
Individual exam timetables were posted home to parents and students during the Easter holidays.

Categories of sanctions from exam boards for mobile phone infringements:

Not in the candidate’s possession, but active e.g ringing in bag
WARNING LETTER

In the candidates possession, switched ON or OFF, but no evidence of use
ZERO FOR THE UNIT THEY ARE SITTING AT THE TIME

On the candidate and evidence of use e.g. texting or answering a call
DISQUALIFIED FROM THE SUBJECT

Maximum penalty for repeated offences
2 YEAR BAN FROM SITTING ANY EXAMS WITH ANY OF THE EXAM BOARDS

AQA had 2,503 lost results due to mobile phone infringements in Summer 2005.

Exam Certificates which were not collected from the Presentation Evening in December 2004 have been returned to the exam boards. Exam boards do not re-issue the original certificates, but replacement results slips can be obtained by the owner at their expense – it costs approx. £35 per exam board.
